| Description | I've been using an updated Flash action I wrote for a few months now. It uses UFO: http://www.bobbyvandersluis.com/ufo/ for outputting the Flash data to the page. One big reason to use it is because it prevents the "Click to Activate" message from being displayed. There's a whole bunch of other good reasons to use it, you can find a list of them near the top of that link. To add this requires a change to the Action file, I have a working one that's ready to go. The only other change is to the header file in the themes appearance directory. This is because some JS is needed in the <head> tag for this to work. Well it does have backups incase JS is disabled but the first thing it tries is the JS approach. I've tested this on Windows XP with IE6, IE7, FF1, FF2, Opera9 and IE6 (I think it was 6) on a Mac. Works in Safari on a Mac as well. I don't know what version OS it was for the last two or what version Safari since I cheated and got a Mac using client to test it :¬) | ||||

Added UFO support within the Flash action, also required adding a bit of JS to each of the three themes header files. |

I put the swf files in /themes/(theme name)/swf just remember to drop a copy of the .htaccess file from the icons directory in there so the files are accessable via an url. |

the other option is to just upload the files using the file uploader and refer to them that way file:menu.swf |

UFO is officially deprecated. SWFObject 2.0 http://code.google.com/p/swfobject/ is UFO's successor and can be downloaded from Google Code. |
